Massage therapy consists primarily of hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, specifically, the muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints for the purpose of optimizing health.
Massage therapy treatment has a therapeutic effect on the body and optimizes health and well-being by acting on the muscular, nervous and circulatory systems. Physical function can be developed, maintained and improved; and physical dysfunction and pain and the effects of stress can be relieved or prevented through the use of Massage Therapy.


Acupuncture

Chelsea graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in December 2017. Since graduating, her practice has evolved to provide treatments tailored to each patient’s goals and empower patients through education which allows them to take control of their health and recovery. 

She frequently attends continuing education courses to best understand how to support and assist patients’ concerns about their health.

Born and raised in Chilliwack, Steven has been practicing as a RMT since 2010 after graduating from Utopia Academy (now Vancouver College of Massage Therapy).

Steven takes a holistic approach to his treatments treating the main complaint along with most compensatory structures. He uses many different modalities including: Swedish massage, deep tissue, myofascial trigger points, fascial stretching, pregnancy massage, Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), joint mobilization, and neuromuscular technique to name a few. Megan is a graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Throughout her studies, injury and pain management have been a focus for her. Including but not limited to, spinal cord injuries, persistent low back pain, amputee rehabilitation, and sports injury recovery. Ben obtained his Acupuncture diploma from College of PCU in Burnaby BC. 

Ben has studied Korean, Oriental, & Chinese medicine for 22 years and has been running an acupuncture clinic since 2013. He is also a member of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture (CTCMA) & the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture (ATCMA) with good standing.

Ben utilizes painless techniques with acupuncture treatments and also invites patients to try other various treatments. Ben recommends acupuncture as it helps reduce pain and improve immunity through various alternative therapies.

Ben follows the theory of Oriental Medicine which is focused on balancing and harmonizing the human body. In the diagnosis and treatment of Oriental Medicine & Acupuncture, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese acupuncture methods are used. The main diagnosis and treatment methods are studying the dialectic based on meridians and deficiency/excess of internal organs.

Ben can fluently speak English, Korean and Mandarin. His grandfather and father also had qualifications in acupuncture, and many of his immediate ancestors studied oriental medicine.

Dr. Craig Robinson was born and raised in Chilliwack. He grew up playing hockey, baseball and soccer. He played soccer at the University of the Fraser Valley for 5 years while getting his bachelors degree in Kinesiology. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in 2017 with cum laude honours. His interests include biking, hiking, and camping with his wife and dog.

Dr. Robinson is trained in a variety of treatment methods including Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Smart Tools (a form of instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization), RockTape, Functional Range Release (a form of muscle release therapy), and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (a form of exercises). Jeni-Rae grew up in Chilliwack where she played competitive soccer most of her life. Her interest in massage therapy began with her extensive involvement in athletics, dance and performance. She has been an aerial acrobatics, dance and movement coach since 2011.

Raised in Hope, BC, Dr. Erica Truesdell received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Victoria before completing her Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2021. Upon graduation, she returned to the Fraser Valley to pursue a career helping people maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and biking.
